Join our team as a Fuel Buyer, a pivotal role responsible for fuel procurement supporting Walmart gas stations, Distribution Centers, and Sam's Club locations nationwide. You will be based in Bentonville, Arkansas. This role is integral to our community and business operations. You will report to the Director, Procurement.
**What you'll do...**
**What You'll Do:**
+ Develop fuel supplier strategies expectations and performance metrics and new supplier relationships, monitors supplier performance and ensures supplier strategies align with corporate strategies to mitigate business and legal risk and to increase market share in the fuel business.
+ Monitor fuel inventory levels in real-time, daily.
+ Oversee fuel procurement strategies, set sourcing strategies, identify key suppliers and distributors, and recommend bid awards to senior management.
+ Your role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as the financial transactions and contractual agreements of the category.
+ Conduct market analysis by reviewing trends, historical data, and market research. Your insights will ensure our understanding of current and future demand.

+ You are comfortable managing a multimillion-dollar business with profit and loss responsibility
+ You enjoy owning and developing plans for highly complex category strategy, supporting long term business plans and executing prioritized strategic initiatives.
+ You have data savviness to analyze performance, understand trends, and translate results into strategies.
+ You are tenacious, dedicated and thrive working with ownership, autonomy, and a healthy dose of competition
+ You have a passion for product and want to be involved in the full product life cycle, from product creation to execution

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
